Event Info

The third event of Uncivilization’s “bass night” series: GENERESHAAN!!! The event took place at Blind and host four DJs from different generations. Random Input started the night with his experimental bass and chiptune set and Lunar Function, Consul, Fosil and Da Frogg set the place on fire with their jungle and drum’n bass sets and the fire was extinguished by force. Random Input did the visuals.

LUNAR FUNKTION

Lunar Funktion is a DnB/Jungle DJ and Producer based in Istanbul. The journey starts in 2008, the moment he instantly fell in love with DnB and Jungle as soon as he listened to MSX:FM, the radio he found by chance while driving over a bridge with his Stinger in GTA 3. Having been producing trip hop and jungle tracks under his music project ‘Viva La Luna’ since 2013. His first visit to PIXIE in 2018 was the most important factor that prompted him to become a DJ. Lunar Funktion aimed to reflect the old school tunes of the 90s on his sets and immersed himself in the beauties of the past. He also hosted a weekly show in Radyo Modyan.

CONSUL

Consul has been a D&B/Jungle DJ since 2016 and producing in those genres since 2019. He has released two EPs and a single. He is currently working on his debut album.

FOSIL

Fosil is an artist that eschews standard convention in favour of expanding his sonic palette - fusing elements of Left-field bass music, Experimental and Breakbeat into a sonic tapestry that is uniquely his own and he is also founder of Badmash. He is an artist that is helping to shape a key sound and cultivating the culture of the ever-evolving Turkish underground scene.

TECH TABANJAH

As a DJ, Mc and producer, Tech Tabanjah aka Da Frogg took an active role in the development of Reggae, Dub and Jungle genres in Turkey. He is the founder of the Beton Orman collective, which started as a program on Açık Radyo in 2004 and later grew as a record company and organization. Da Frogg, who has performed in many venues and festivals in Turkey and abroad, is about to complete its 30th year in the music world.

RANDOM INPUT

Random Input produces, mixes, edits audio and visual materials. As a VJ he has been mixing video live since 2002 mainly by itterating, reproducing, distorting, displacing and corrupting images. He started DJing in 2018 and since then played sets that blends breakcore, hardcore, chiptune and glitch genres.

Uncivilization’ın “bass night” etkinliklerinin üçüncüsü: GENERESHAAN!!! Blind’da gerçekleşen gecede farklı kuşaklardan DJ'ler sahne aldı' Random Input geceyi deneysel bass ve chiptune'la başlatırken Lunar Funktion, Consul, Fosil ve Da Frogg’un muhteşem jungle ve drum’n bass setleri ile ortalığı yaktı. Gecenin sonunda zor kullanılarak bu ateş söndürüldü. Gecenin görsellerini Random Input yaptı.

LUNAR FUNKTION

Drum&Bass müziğine olan aşkı 2008 yılında GTA3'te Stinger'ıyla köprüde dolaşırken radyoda şans eseri karşılaştığı Moving Shadow parçaları ile filizlenen Lunar Funktion, 2013'ten itibaren Viva La Luna projesi altında trip hop ve jungle türünde prodüksiyonlar yaptı. 2018'de PIXIE ile tanışması ise onu DJ'lik yapmaya iten en önemli etken oldu. Lunar Funktion kendisini eskinin güzelliklerine kaptırarak setlerinde 90'ların oldschool melodilerini gelecek nesillere yansıtmayı amaçlamış, belirli bir süre boyunca Radyo Modyan'da da kendi ismini taşıyan haftalık programı ile yer almıştır.

CONSUL

Consul, 2016 yılından beri D&B/Jungle DJ’liği ve 2019 yılından beri bu türlerde prodüksiyon yapıyor. Şu ana kadar iki EP ve bir single yayınladı ve ilk albümü üzerinde çalışıyor.

FOSIL

Fosil, Bass, Experimental ve Breakbeat tarzlarındaki ses paletini genişletmek için standart konvansiyondan kaçınan bir sanatçıdır. Kendine has ses yelpazesini parçalarında kullanmaktadır. Aynı zamanda Badmash'in kurucularından olan Fosil, Amerikan A / V Label Satellite Era’dan ve kurucusu olduğu Badmash'den parçalarını yayımlamıştır.

TECH TABANJAH

Da Frogg adıyla bilinen Tech Tabanjah, Dj, Mc ve prodüktör olarak Türkiyede reggae, dub ve jungle türlerinin gelişiminde aktif rol aldı. 2004'te Açık Radyo'da program olarak başlayan sonrasında plak şirketi ve organizasyon olarak büyüyen Beton Orman kolektifinin kurucusu. Yurt içi ve yurt dışında pek çok mekan ve festivalde sahne alan Da Frogg müzik dünyasında 30. yılını doldurmak üzere.

RANDOM INPUT

Random Input ses ve görsel miksleyen ve editleyen bir VJDJ’dir. 2002 yılından bu yana, bulduğu görüntüleri çoğaltır, saptırır, çarpıtıp bozarak yeniden üretir. 2018’de Pixie Underground’da breakcore, hardcore, bass, chiptune, glitch türlerini harmanladığı DJ setleri çalmaya başlamıştır.
